3 min readDec 17, 2021

Play Fantasy EFL Championship on Foontasy, where you can buy players AFTER DEADLINE and loan them for just one gameweek. Also wildcard and 2 free transfers each GW.

New feature for late entrants! Now you can compare yourselves with all the managers! Here’s “Average points” column in the leaderboard for you.

48th-placed Megan Fidler who entered the game in GW9 is 5th by points per GW!

MATCH POSTPONEMENTS AND RULES UPDATE

These five games are postponed because of Covid-19 outbreaks and will not be part of this GW:

Cardiff v Derby | Coventry v Stoke | Millwall v Preston | QPR v Swansea | Reading v Luton

These postponed fixtures will be moved to a GW after which it will be played, meaning that these teams will have two (or even three!) matches in one GW (this kind of gameweeks are often called DGW).

Here’s how the current schedule looks so far

Due to this situation, we decided to add new rule.

For every two postponed matches in a GW, you’ll be given:

+1 free transfer
+1 free-hit transfer
+1 post-deadline transfer

Free-hit and post-deadline transfers can be saved for future GWs, but transfers cannot.

Additions can be given only before last 3 hours to GW deadline. So, if a game gets postponed in the last 3 hours prior to the deadline, it won’t be counted to give you one more addition.

LONG-TERM AND SHORT-TERM PICKS

Pick advices are postponed due to lack of previewer’s time.

EXPECTED XIs

Friday

19:45 GMT Barnsley v West Bromwich

Saturday

12:30 GMT Middlesbrough v Bournemouth

15:00 GMT Blackburn v Birmingham

15:00 GMT Blackpool v Peterborough

I’m pretty sure Neil Critchley will still find a way to beat this

15:00 GMT Bristol City v Huddersfield

15:00 GMT Nottingham Forest v Hull

Even though Forest were playing 3–4–3 with Yates CB last match, I still think 4–2–3–1 on Saturday is more likely.
Apologies to those who brought Callum Elder after my advice two weeks ago, i.e. absolutely no one

Monday

19:45 GMT Fulham v Sheffield United

Marco Silva didn’t mention Chalobah and Reed being fit, said that only Stanfield is unavaliable.

That’s all folks!
